Privacy policy

This policy explains how Brilliant Inkk Private Limited ("we") collects and uses personal data through myreviews, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Data we collect

• From Businesses: business name, owner name, email, mobile number, city, business type, logo and brand images, questions, and connection details for Instagram, Facebook and Google.
• From Customers: name, email address and account ID from Google sign-in; the recorded video and voice; the text transcript of what was said; the star rating; and whether consent was given for social media posting.
• Payments: handled by Razorpay. We receive the payment status and reference IDs only. We never see or store card, UPI or bank details.
• Technical data: basic logs such as browser type and IP address, used for security and fixing errors.

How we use it

• To run the Service: show the recording screen, create review text, and post videos to the Business's pages when the Customer consents.
• To give Businesses a dashboard of their reviews.
• To process payments, send receipts and renewal reminders.
• To keep the Service secure and prevent misuse.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use Customer videos for advertising our own service without separate permission.

Who we share it with

• The Business the Customer reviewed, which sees the video, rating, text and the Customer's name.
• Instagram and Facebook (Meta), only when the Customer consents to posting.
• Google, for sign-in.
• Razorpay, for payments; Cloudflare, which hosts our website and stores data.
• Authorities, where required by law.

How long we keep it

• Videos: deleted from our servers once posted to the Business's pages. Videos that are not posted are deleted automatically within 14 days.
• Review text, rating and Customer name: kept while the Business's account is active, and deleted within 90 days after the account ends.
• Payment records: kept for the period required by tax and accounting laws.

Videos already posted on Instagram or Facebook are controlled by the Business and those platforms. To remove one, ask the Business or contact us and we will pass on the request.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent, by contacting our Grievance Officer below. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Customers must be 18 or older to record a review. A person under 18 may record only with a parent or guardian present who gives consent.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with access limited to people who need it to run the Service.
