Delete your data

You can ask us to delete the personal data myreviews holds about you at any time. This page explains how, for customers who recorded a review and for businesses that connected their Instagram or Facebook accounts.

If you recorded a video review

• Email us from the Google account email you signed in with, and include the business name and the approximate date of your review.
• We delete your name, email, rating, review text and any video we still hold within 30 days, and confirm by email.
• Videos are already deleted from our servers once posted, and unposted videos are removed automatically within 14 days.
• A Reel already posted on a business's Instagram or Facebook is controlled by that business. We will pass your removal request to them.

If your business connected Instagram or Facebook

• You can disconnect at any time from your myreviews dashboard. This deletes the access tokens we hold for your accounts straight away.
• You can also remove myreviews from your Facebook account under Settings, then Business integrations, or from Instagram under Settings, then Website permissions, then Apps and websites.
• To delete your whole business account and all its review records, email us from your registered email. We complete deletion within 30 days, except payment records we must keep under tax law.
